Position Summary

The Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) serves as a key member of the senior leadership team, supporting the Chief Nursing Officer/Chief Operating Officer in the strategic, operational, and clinical oversight of nursing services.This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care while aligning nursing practices with system-wide goals and regulatory standards.

The ACNO collaborates across the health system to standardize best practices, advance clinical excellence, and support workforce engagement in a rural critical access environment.



Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Master's preferred
  •  Experience: 10 years experience
  •  Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license from the state of practice
