What to Expect:

The Applied Research Scientist is responsible for development and conduct of community and public health PI/QI and research projects.

• Develops, implements and conducts Applied Research projects in partnership with Principal Investigators, health care providers, post-doctoral fellows, academic partners and local businesses or agencies.
• Publishes Applied Research projects in peer-reviewed journals.
• Develops, submits and manages grants, philanthropy or other external funding related to Applied Research.
• Identifies opportunities to integrate, collaborate and expand Applied Research projects through partnerships while ensuring sufficient resources are available to sustain and complete each project.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have experience in biostatistics and experience in public health initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: PhD 
• Experience: 4 year's experience
• Licenses/Certifications: None
