What to Expect:
The Applied Research Scientist is responsible for development and conduct of community and public health PI/QI and research projects.
- Develops, implements and conducts Applied Research projects in partnership with Principal Investigators, health care providers, post-doctoral fellows, academic partners and local businesses or agencies.
- Publishes Applied Research projects in peer-reviewed journals.
- Develops, submits and manages grants, philanthropy or other external funding related to Applied Research.
- Identifies opportunities to integrate, collaborate and expand Applied Research projects through partnerships while ensuring sufficient resources are available to sustain and complete each project.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have experience in biostatistics and experience in public health initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: PhD
- Experience: 4 year's experience
- Licenses/Certifications: None
