Description & Requirements

At St. Luke’s, we pride ourselves on fostering a workplace culture that values diversity, promotes collaboration, and prioritizes employee well-being. Our commitment to excellence in patient care extends to creating an environment where our team can thrive both personally and professionally. With opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive community of colleagues, St. Luke’s is truly a great place to work.

What You Can Expect:

Our Skilled Nursing facility provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and end-of-life care for adults who require ongoing support. Located adjacent to a Critical Access Hospital and backed by the resources of St. Luke's Health System, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape a newly established leadership role within our growing Home and Community Based Services.

As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will serve as the vital link between frontline caregivers and nursing leadership. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on leadership role focused on mentoring staff, promoting clinical excellence, supporting daily operations, and ensuring exceptional resident-centered care. You will work alongside an innovative interdisciplinary team committed to enhancing the care environment while developing and empowering team members.

This position is primarily Monday through Friday with variable hours. Occasional flexibility into evening/swing shifts is expected to provide visibility, support, and engagement with night shift staff. The Assistant Nurse Manager is an active member of the care team and should expect to provide direct resident care, assist with staffing needs, and work alongside bedside staff as needed while supporting quality, safety, employee engagement, and operational excellence. Responsibilities also include coaching staff, assisting with staffing assignments, promoting evidence-based practice, and supporting key quality and operational metrics in partnership with the Nurse Manager.

Qualifications:

  •  Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing
  • Experience: 3 years nursing experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License required and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
