Our Certified Nursing Assistants and Nurse Apprentices play an important role in supporting patients and partnering with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team.
CNA or Nurse Apprentice opportunities are available across Med/Surg units in Boise, Meridian, and Nampa. When applying, you can select your top two units of interest.

Explore Our Units
Boise – Med/Surg 4 | Oncology
Care for patients throughout the cancer journey, from diagnosis and treatment to symptom management and comfort care. The unit also cares for post-surgical patients, patients receiving chemotherapy, and higher-acuity patients requiring close monitoring.
Boise – Med/Surg 6 | General
A fast-paced 35-bed unit caring primarily for post-surgical patients, along with medical patients and complex surgical cases. Specialties include colorectal, urology, vascular, gynecology, bariatric, general surgery, and plastic/reconstructive surgery. The unit is also the only unit in the state performing Whipple surgeries.
Boise – Neuro Inpatient Rehab
Provide post-acute rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, orthopedic, spinal cord, brain injuries, and medical deconditioning. Care is highly collaborative, with a focus on helping patients regain independence and return home.
Boise – Med/Surg 5 | Ortho
Focus on orthopedic care, including total joint replacements, along with post-operative EENT and general Med/Surg patients. The unit also has dedicated epilepsy monitoring beds and provides care for complex ENT and reconstructive surgeries.
Boise – Med/Surg 9 | Neuro
Care for patients with neurological conditions including stroke, spine surgery, cranial surgery, neuro-intervention, and other medical-neurological diagnoses. The unit is a Joint Commission Certified Spine Program of Excellence and Certified Primary Stroke Center of Excellence.
Meridian – Med/Surg 5 | Surgical
Care for post-operative patients recovering from orthopedic, spine, plastic/reconstructive, urological, and general surgical procedures, along with patients with medical diagnoses.
Meridian – Med/Surg 6 | Medical/Surgical
Care for patients with acute medical, surgical, cardiac, and respiratory conditions. This collaborative unit provides opportunities to develop experience in Med/Surg, pain management, orthopedic, and neurological care.
Nampa – Med/Surg
Care for a diverse patient population, including patients recovering from orthopedic, gynecologic, urological, and general surgical procedures, along with medical and telemetry patients. With a supportive team that values teaching, this is a great environment to build clinical skills and grow throughout your career.
Qualifications – CNA
- Current CNA certification in the state of practice
- Current BLS Provider certification
Qualifications – Nurse Apprentice
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA)
- No previous experience required
- Nurse Apprentice Letter or Nursing Intern Letter from the State Board of Nursing
- Current BLS Provider certification
