Certified Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship:

The Certified Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship (CNA-A) program at St. Luke’s Health System is aimed at training and developing highly qualified Certified Nursing Assistants to meet the staffing need in our acute care settings.

Program Overview:

Each CNA-A will complete a 7-week academic program through a local community college in a hybrid model of in-person and online learning. Concurrently, apprentices will build on this learning through a St. Luke’s apprenticeship experience through clinical precepting, accented with in-class simulation learning.

CNA-A's will prepare and sit for the CNA credentialing exam at the end of the program. Upon passing, qualified individuals will be eligible to transfer to a full time or part time Certified Nursing Assistant position at St. Luke’s Health System.
