Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Educator II to support our ambulatory medical specialty clinics and clinical research service lines. This part-time role is essential in sustaining high-quality clinical education, onboarding, and professional development across our outpatient settings.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring continuity of education and competency support while maintaining our approved staffing benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate clinical education programs for ambulatory specialty clinics and research teams
- Support new employee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing competency validation
- Develop and facilitate preceptor training, including Preceptor Foundations
- Coordinate and teach life support and certification courses, including:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- STABLE Program
- Partner with clinical leaders to support evidence-based practice initiatives and quality improvement efforts
- Provide education and mentorship for students and staff, fostering professional growth and development
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards for clinical education
- Support both credentialed and non-credentialed training programs
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Experience: 4 years related experience
- Licenses/Certifications: RN Licensure in the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
Location: Boise or Twin Falls
