Under general supervision, the Finance Analyst 2 performs specialized financial, accounting or planning activities following general project or departmental guidelines, procedures and precedents in support of various financial functions.

What You Can Expect:

  • Creates, maintains, and oversees the collection of data and preparation of reports to analyze financial data.
  • Develops and processes financial reports for forecasting, trending and result analysis.
  • Assists in preparation of special studies, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Monitors budget expenditures and prepare written reports and analysis.
  • Performs moderately complex statistical, cost and financial analysis of data reported.
  • Documents revenues and expenditures expected and submits to management.
  • Provides functional and technical direction to other staff members.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree
  • Experience: Three (3) years' relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cost accounting/cost analytic background is preferred
