Our team of Certified Nursing Assistants play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients.
The Boise OR is looking to add a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to their team who will be responsible for main OR operations.
The Boise OR serves all specialties except for CVOR and L&D. They have three robots, which are controlled by surgeons during the operation – allows instruments to bend and perform in smaller areas, which provides a shorter heal time. The Boise OR is the System’s largest OR, and is a very fast-paced environment. Due to the Children’s Hospital on site, the Boise OR sees a lot of pediatric patients. Eighty percent of the work is done in one of four teams: Ortho, Neuro, General, and Oscopy. The Boise OR has about 80 cases per day.
What You Can Expect:
- Full Time (40 hours a week) openings
- Monday - Friday; 0845-1815
- In this role, you will be responsible for performing professional level support activities in one or more functional areas within an assigned department/unit.
- Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 0 years’ experience
- Licenses/Certifications: None
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Healthcare Experience
- Example - CNA, Medical Assistant, and/or Current Enrollment in Nursing/Medical School)
