We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered specialty care in a collaborative environment. As a Lead Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will serve as a clinical leader and resource for the care team, supporting staff development, maintaining operational excellence, and helping ensure efficient clinic workflows. This role is ideal for an experienced CMA who enjoys mentoring others, learning new skills, and contributing to a positive team culture.
What you can expect from this role:
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, depending on clinic needs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a lead resource for clinical staff by providing guidance, support, and mentorship in daily clinic operations.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new team members, helping ensure a successful transition into the clinic.
- Maintain clinic logs and documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
- Develop and maintain competency in all clinic procedures while supporting staff education and clinical best practices.
- Partner with providers and leadership to promote efficient workflows, excellent patient care, and a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant required.
Certifications
- Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
- Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA.
