Description & Requirements

This IT Manager role provides leadership and oversight for Middle Revenue Cycle technologies, including Epic mid‑revenue cycle workflows, and third‑party applications. The position ensures reliable application performance, operational alignment, and support of Outpatient CDI initiatives.

The manager owns application support and escalation management, including financial risk events, cybersecurity escalations, and participation in Major Incidents. The role also carries responsibility for program, project, and application portfolio management, including intake and prioritization of new work, project tracking and reporting, and oversight of solution evaluation and implementation.

The position serves as an operational IT leader, representing technology teams in daily production activities and ensuring service levels meet business needs. It includes a small number of direct reports with accountability for coaching, development, performance management, and resource allocation.

Additional responsibilities include vendor and contract management, invoice oversight, and fiscal accountability. The role partners closely with service line and operational leaders, providing transparent communication, status reporting, and strategic alignment to ensure technology initiatives support organizational goals.


- Oversees the evaluation, selection, and implementation of systems or technologies.
- Determines business requirements and needs, identifies key performance factors, defines projects and priorities, establishes standards related to department/program operations; recommends and allocates resources based on business priorities.
- Responsible for the planning, organizing and staffing of the department; makes decisions on personnel actions (hiring, terminations, promotions, etc.); assigns personnel to projects and directs their activities; reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance reports.
- Consults with personnel in other departments to coordinate activities; responsible for communication and acts as a liaison with internal departments.
- Recommends strategies to assist the business in meeting its critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible; administers recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for business execution and identifies opportunities for improvement or efficiencies.
- Supports the organization’s strategy and service delivery standards; monitors service levels and key service delivery performance indicators or metrics, and identifies areas where performance can be improved through changes.
- Helps develop long-term plans taking into account trends and changing organizational needs; decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from senior manager/director.
- Advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures; evaluates and recommends changes to policies or procedures.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of department systems, programs and technology.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: 4 years relevant experience
