We are seeking a Manager Community Health Services 2 to join our Magic Valley team. This manager is responsible for ensuring the healthcare facilities provide the most effective patient care so we are the preferred provider for the community. Serves as a liaison between the community and the organization.
What You Can Expect
In this position, you will:
- Plan and coordinate the day-to-day operations of department staff and education staff including hiring, scheduling, performance appraisals, discipline, terminations and transfers.
- Develop, implement and manage policies and procedures to ensure the organization is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Identify staff development and training needs and ensure that training is obtained.
- Represent the organization on health related coalitions and health services advisory councils.
- Develop and submit budgets; monitors and authorize expenditures for the program or services.
- Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to the work.
- Direct and participate in surveys, assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities to determine whether overall service and program needs complement those offered by other local agencies.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: Six (6) years' relevant experience
