Business Intelligence Analyst – Master Data Management (Intermediate to Advanced)

Role Summary
As a key member of the Master Data Management (MDM) team at St. Luke’s, you will play a critical role in creating and sustaining trusted, enterprise-wide “single source of truth” data domains. You will partner closely with business, functional, and technical teams to translate business needs into high-quality master data solutions that support timely, data-driven decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a curious self-starter with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and a passion for data quality. Experience with Profisee is preferred but not required.
Required Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of related experience
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between business, functional, and technical teams to facilitate the collection, clarification, and documentation of business requirements
- Translate business requirements into effective master data strategies and methods that ensure data quality and consistency
- Configure and support MDM solutions (including Profisee components) to automate data mastering and enable data steward workflows
- Collaborate with architects, technical leads, developers, and leadership to define information needs, data flows, metadata mapping, and data quality rules
- Support the ingestion and integration of disparate data sources, including source-to-target mapping and coordination with vendors and internal/external partners
- Apply data quality techniques for validation, unit testing, user acceptance testing, and automated integration testing using SQL, Excel, and other analysis tools
- Test new software products and system updates; partner with development teams to improve usability and recommend enhancements
- Train data stewards how to manage mastered data in Profisee
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness and enable data to be used as a strategic enterprise asset
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Strong ability to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements
- Background in process or system definition, analysis, and continuous improvement
- Experience with database, software, and/or reporting quality assurance and testing practices
- Solid SQL experience, including writing and validating queries
- Ability to create and present technical and analytical reports using reporting tools (Power BI experience preferred)
