Meds-to-Beds (M2B) Pharmacy Technician – Boise

Pharmacy Technicians at St. Luke's enjoy opportunities to excel, grow, and be challenged in their careers. This is a part-time, variable shift role located in Boise, Idaho

 

Our Med's to Beds team is a crucial part of our transition of care services. Our Med's to Bed's technicians support our Med's to Bed's team as well as retail pharmacy.

  • Retail Pharmacy Technicians prepare and deliver our patients' medications, submit insurance claims, input prescription data, coordinate med-syncing, and assist our patients in person and over the phone.
  • Meds-to-Beds Technicians fill take-home medications for our pharmacists to deliver bedside to our patients prior to discharge, which helps with medication adherence and eliminates the need for a stop on their way home.

 

 What you can expect from this position: 

  • Location: Boise Medical Center
  • Schedule: M/W/F Variable day shifts, T/TH variable evening shifts.  Scheduled Sunday morning shifts, Saturdays rotating.
  • Hours: Part-time Variable hours, with evening hours ending by 9pm.
  • Eligible for shift differential pay, certification pay for PTCB Adv, Preceptor pay

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Idaho pharmacy technician License 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) + years' experience
  • CPhT
