At St. Luke’s, our team is driven by compassion, innovation, and a commitment to exceptional patient care. Join our Occupational Health team as an Ambulatory Clinic Assistant, where you'll play an important role in supporting the health and safety of local employers, employees, and the communities we serve.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, compassionate, and interested in building a career in healthcare. Working alongside an experienced and supportive clinical team, you'll gain hands-on experience, develop specialized occupational health skills, and make a meaningful impact by helping patients' complete employment-related health screenings and workplace safety services.

Schedule

Monday – Friday

  • Start Time: 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
  • End Time: 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Compensation

$17.52 – $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What You Can Expect

  • Work Monday through Friday with evenings and weekends free.
  • Gain specialized training in Occupational Health services, including:
    • Audiometric (hearing) testing
    • Spirometry (lung function) testing
    • Respirator mask fit testing
    • Pre-employment physical and employer health screenings
  • Receive training to perform Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing while supporting workplace health and safety initiatives.
  • Develop valuable clinical, administrative, and customer service skills in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical office, ambulatory clinic, or healthcare setting.
  • Phlebotomy experience is preferred but not required.
