What You Can Expect:

  •  The Lactation Consultant provides professional leadership and advanced knowledge in the practice of lactation management. Lactation Consultants are responsible for educating new mothers and their families about the breast feeding process.
  • The Nampa Mother Baby unit and Level 2 NICU provide compassionate care for infants and their families following birth. As a Level 2 NICU, the Nampa unit supports babies born prematurely or those who require specialized monitoring and intervention. The team is equipped to manage moderate prematurity, feeding challenges, and respiratory support needs, offering advanced care for infants who do not require complex surgical services.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Nursing
  • 2 years of RN experience, maternal-child experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
  • IBCLC Specialty Certification
