Pharmacy Infusion Scheduling Specialist- PAS2

The Pharmacy Infusion Scheduling Specialist works closely with the Pharmacy Authorization Team, Medication Access Team, Infusion Pharmacist Team, Infusion Center employees, and referring clinic providers. This remote position is primarily responsible for coordinating the scheduling of patients at all system infusion sites. This position requires enhanced knowledge of specialized scheduling within EPIC and review of therapy plans housing specialty infusion drugs/treatments. The Pharmacy Scheduling Specialist works autonomously and proficiently while providing the communication necessary to help guide the provider, clinic staff, and patient. The Pharmacy Scheduling Specialist also participates in other duties as assigned related to the day-to-day operations within the department.

 

Schedule Expectations: Can be Flex, Part Time or Full Time.

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent


Work Experience:

Minimum one (1) year in health care related scheduling, authorization, billing, or registration. Or three (3) years of customer service or administrative work.


Preferred:

EPIC experience
