Pharmacy Technician – COSM IV Infusion Technician

Join our Hybrid Retail Pharmacy to experience a unique and dynamic work environment! The IV Infusion Pharmacy Technician at COSM plays a vital role in supporting surgical and procedural services.
This position works closely with pharmacists, surgeons, anesthesia staff, and clinical teams to prepare, coordinate, and manage IV medications and inventory in a highly independent, self-paced environment. Strong communication, critical thinking, and accountability are essential for success in this role.
- IV Medication & Surgical Support: Prepare and support IV infusion medications while collaborating closely with surgeons and anesthesia staff to ensure safe, timely surgical care.
- Independent Workflow & Critical Thinking: Work autonomously in a self-paced environment, applying strong critical-thinking skills to prioritize tasks and resolve medication or workflow issues.
- Omnicell & Inventory Management: Coordinate Omnicell operations and manage medication and supply inventory to support surgical and procedural staff.
- Cross-Functional Pharmacy Support: Assist retail pharmacy operations as needed to maintain continuity of pharmacy services.
What You Can Expect:
- Location: Center for Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic
- Schedule: Full time 40 hours per week
- Hours: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
- May be eligible for certification pay for PTCB Adv. Certification; preceptor pay
- Learn and expand your pharmacy skills with opportunities to advance into leadership and pharmacy business positions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Idaho pharmacy technician License
- AT least one year of Infusion making experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
- CPhT
