We are seeking a Physician Compensation Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will help develop, implement, and administer St. Luke’s Health System’s physician and non‑physician provider compensation programs, partnering closely with a Provider Compensation Business Partner to support multiple service lines.
This role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of provider compensation, build relationships across the organization, and contribute to meaningful, system‑wide initiatives.
What you can expect
- Support the administration of Provider Compensation Plans, ensuring alignment with St. Luke’s policies, procedures, and plan guidelines.
- Perform regular analysis of compensation calculations from moderate to complex, while contributing to the design, implementation, and refinement of systems, tools, and processes that support provider compensation.
- Serve as a trusted resource for leaders and staff, answering questions, interpreting compensation policies, and offering thoughtful consultation on compensation models, reconciliation, forecasting, and related activities.
- Assist in interpreting and administering contract terms while gaining exposure to the legal and regulatory environment surrounding physician compensation.
- Participate in compensation surveys, benchmarking activities, and audit processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Support documentation efforts that streamline workflows and reinforce regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to special projects that expand your knowledge and influence across the organization.
- Grow your expertise in educating providers and leaders on compensation structures and regulatory considerations.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: Two (2) years’ relevant experience
Preferred Experience
- Three (3) + years’ relevant experience
- Experience leading the development, implementation, and administration of physician and non‑physician provider compensation programs
- Experience preparing executive‑ready presentation material
- Experience performing advanced analysis of complex compensation models, including modeling, reconciliation, and forecasting
- Experience consulting with leadership as a subject matter expert on provider compensation policies and practices
- Experience drafting, reviewing, or coordinating contract negotiations with leadership and Legal
- Experience mentoring or developing HR or analytical staff
