We are seeking a Public Relations Coordinator 2 to join our team! Under limited supervision, this coordinator uses advanced knowledge and skills for planning, scheduling and executing public relations plans and initiatives to support visibility and the positive reputation of the organization.
What You Can Expect:
- Working in a hybrid work environment with an experienced, collaborative team that is based in the various regions served by St. Luke’s.
- Writing and distributing clear, accurate and engaging content for a variety of audiences and channels, including media materials, internal communication and community-facing messages, using AP-style.
- Developing, coordinating and maintaining lines of communication and relationships with media contacts and other identified audience groups.
- Collaborating with senior members of the public relations team to design, plan and implement public relations plans and tactics to support a favorable public image and brand.
- May support the work of public relations and communications business partners in other regions outside of the Treasure Valley.
- Coordinating responses to requests for information and referring more complex issues to their supervisor.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of events, such as ribbon cuttings or ground breakings, and other special projects as requested.
- You will apply sound judgment and issues management experience to help support sensitive, high-visibility or time-sensitive communications.
- Assisting with crisis communications planning and response, including gathering information, drafting key messages, coordinating timely communications in partnership with senior team members and media coverage tracking.
- In cooperation with their manager, they may provide coaching, and/or mentoring to other coordinators. Acts as a resource for team members.
- May have other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: Four (4) years' relevant experience
