Cardiac Procedure RN
Join a mission-driven, non-profit health system dedicated to exceptional patient care, clinical excellence, and compassionate service. We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse to support our Cardiac Procedure area, providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This role includes required evening and weekend call coverage as part of a collaborative call rotation team.
Position Overview
The Cardiac Procedure RN delivers high-quality nursing care to patients throughout the procedural continuum, including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, recovery, and patient education. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, and is committed to providing safe, patient-centered care during both scheduled hours and on-call response situations.
Schedule requirements: 4 - 9 hour shifts, 1 night of call a week and 1 weekend a month (Fri-Sun).
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Associates in Nursing
- Experience: 1+ years’ experience, prefer Cardiac Procedure experience
- ACLS required within 6 months
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
