Lead Registered Nurse (RN) – Family Medicine & Pediatrics

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about leadership, education, mentoring, and improving the patient experience? Join our mission-driven, nonprofit health system as a Lead RN, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our Family Medicine and Pediatrics teams across three clinic locations.

This position is ideal for a nurse leader who enjoys balancing clinical expertise with team development, operational excellence, and quality improvement. As the clinical leader for the care team, you'll collaborate closely with providers and clinic leadership to ensure exceptional patient care while fostering a positive, engaged work environment.

What You'll Do

As the Lead RN, you will serve as the clinical resource and leader for nursing staff, helping to ensure consistent, high-quality care across multiple ambulatory clinic locations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day-to-day clinical leadership and support for nursing and clinical staff.
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to promote professional growth and clinical excellence.
• Coordinating orientation, onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing education for clinical staff.
• Supporting provider workflows to improve efficiency, communication, and patient access.
• Promoting compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Partnering with clinic leadership on quality improvement initiatives, patient safety efforts, and operational priorities.
• Assisting with care coordination, workflow optimization, and problem-solving to enhance the patient experience.
• Serving as a trusted clinical resource for staff while fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.

This position supports three clinic locations serving Family Medicine and Pediatrics and is essential to maintaining exceptional patient care and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

•  Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
•  Experience: 3 years’ experience
•  Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience leading clinical teams in a multi-site ambulatory environment.
• Experience with education, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
