We are currently hiring for a Part -Time RN at Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Outpatient Team!


The clinic focuses on restoring function, improving mobility, and enhancing the quality of life for patients recovering from injuries, strokes, or living with chronic conditions. Our collaborative, patient-centered clinic empowers individuals through a mix of therapies, education, and compassionate care.

 

What You Can Expect:


  • Care Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for patients, brain injury program, Concussion clinic program and physicians.
  • Education & Support: Provide daily support to clinical staff. Lead the clinical team in outpatient daily activities and patient care. Run daily clinic.
  • Clinic Operations: Manage medication refills, process clinical triage messages, and assist with minor in-clinic procedures. Gain knowledge of Spasticity program from our Spasticity care coordinator to aid in Medicine ordering and patient care management. 
  • Daily job duties would include:
    • Preparing clinical staff for outpatient clinic
    • Assisting providers with care management of complex patients. Assisting with the Concussion Clinic and Outpatient Brain Injury program.
    • Medication management and ordering of botox/dysport
    • Administrative duties such as coordinating rooms for complex patient outpatient visits with inpatient staff. Outgoing workque. 
    • Working with the Spasticity Care Coordinator to learn processes and be back up for Baclofen pump issues and treatments. 


Qualifications:

  •  Education: Nursing Degree
  •  Experience: 1 years’ experience
  •  Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation
