We're hiring a Full-Time (0.8 FTE) Registered Nurse at the Children's Neurology Clinic located in Boise at the Children's Pavilion!
What You Can Expect:
In this role, you will serve as a key member of the Children’s Neurology care team, supporting patients and providers through coordinated, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include:
- Triaging patient symptoms via phone and managing in-basket communications
- Coordinating care by evaluating and communicating test results
- Managing medication refill requests and prior authorizations
- Rooming patients and supporting clinic flow during visits
- Triaging and processing new patient referrals
- Providing patient and family education for complex neurological conditions
- Coordinating follow-up care, including EEGs, MRIs, and specialty services
You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of neurology providers and nurses to care for a chronic pediatric population, including children with epilepsy, developmental delays, genetic disorders, migraines, tics, and other neurological conditions.
Schedule: 8:00a - 4:30p, 8 week day shifts per pay period. Variable scheduled days off.
Qualifications:
- Education: Nursing Degree
- Experience: 1 years' experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
