** $8k Sign On Bonus offered for position ** (new hires only)

 

Schedule: 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period) This position will be 4 days per week, Monday-Friday with a varied day off each week based on the surgery schedule. 8-hour shifts with varied start times.  Some call required. Call response time is 30 minutes.  

 

What you can expect from this role: 

 Our surgical services team is composed of some of the best nurses in Southern Idaho. Pre Admission Testing (PAT) is a subunit of perioperative services that includes pre-op, and PACU. The PAT has a vital role of optimizing patients before their surgery date to assist the patient in the best possible outcome.  The department requires that you be cross trained to one other department subunits.  We prepare and recover patients that require surgical interventions for service lines such as vascular, urology, ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, OBGYN, gastroenterology, and podiatry. We work very hard together to create an exceptional patient experience!

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN)
  • Experience: 1+ year of pre-admission testing, Pre-Op or PACU/recovery RN experience highly preferred 
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice, BLS is required
