** $10k Sign On Bonus offered for position ** (new hires)

 

Schedule:  0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) 3 (12)-hour shifts, 0700-1930 plus call after every shift until 2300. Schedule is 3 set days a week: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 


Call is required for this position. Call response time is 30 minutes. 

Weekend requirement of 1 weekend every 6-8 weeks.  There are 4 different scheduled shifts on the weekends (2-day shift nurses, 1 day call shift, 1 night call shift).  1 holiday requirement a year (with the same shifts scheduled).  

 

Unit Summary

The Boise POHA includes 22 patient bays to prep and monitor patients before surgery. Due to the Children’s Hospital being located in the same facility, this site does see the majority of pediatric patients compared to other sites in the organization. The bays include 17 adult bays and 5 pediatric bays.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN) 
  • Experience: 1+ years of Critical Care, ICU, Pre Op, PACU or ED experience required   
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice.
  • BLS required, ACLS highly preferred
