What You Can Expect:

The Supervisor Assistive Personnel is responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.

- Supervises, plans, and evaluates direct care staff to ensure patients receive optimum care. Oversees daily operations of the unit to promote quality/efficient patient care management.
- Assists with coordination of schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff.
- Evaluates performance of assigned employees based on job standards.
- Assists the Nursing Manager in meeting budget targets for unit through effective utilization of staffing ratios.
- Provides budgetary and performance improvement feedback to management.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalenent
  • Experience: 3 years’ experience
