St. Luke’s Boise operating room (Surgical Services) is seeking a Clean Core Technician.  This position is a great introduction into healthcare and surgery for those interested in learning about surgical instruments, supplies, and processes.  There are currently three different full time shifts available.  Variable training schedule during the first 60-90 days which will be discussed during interviews.    No experience necessary, on the job training provided. 

Available shifts:

1. Full time Monday through Friday 18:00 – 02:30
2. Full time Friday through Tuesday 06:45 – 15:15
3. Full time Friday through Monday; Friday & Monday 22:45 – 07:15, Saturday & Sunday 18:45 – 07:15

What You Can Expect:

• Prepares case carts for current and next day operating room schedule.
• Ensures instruments and supplies are available as needed for patient care.
• Transports carts and supplies to and from designated operating areas.
• Carry companion phone to receive calls from operating rooms requesting additional supplies or instruments.
• Maintains inventory and par count in clean core.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
