Our finance team partners closely with stakeholders across the enterprise to surface insights, identify opportunities, and drive meaningful change in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

Health Partners is seeking an experienced accountant or similar financial professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles, estimates, auditing, internal controls, budgeting, and financial modeling. Candidates should be able to analyze and consolidate data from various financial arrangements, including governmental programs. Experience or familiarity in the healthcare or health insurance industry is preferable but not a requirement.

What You Can Expect

The Finance and Accounting Manager ensures finance/accounting processes, controls, and deadlines are accurately met on a timely basis. Sets priorities and direction for the team.

  • Leads a team of finance/accounting professionals. Identifies talent, hires, trains, and provides performance and development opportunities.
  • Provides guidance to the work unit and advises managers and supervisors on issues related to finance/accounting.
  • Develops/Creates analysis and prepare summaries of results for senior management.
  • Reviews policies for consistency and compliance.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives by driving efficient processes, improved tools and optimal system and process structures.
  • Performs advanced duties requiring extensive and diversified experience.
  • Oversees the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, direction, and coordination of policies and programs consistent with company philosophy and objectives.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: Six (6) years' relevant experience
