What You’ll Do

  • Deliver individualized, play-based interventions tailored to each child’s medical and psychosocial needs

  • Promote emotional, social, and cognitive development while honoring family dynamics, culture, and developmental stages

  • Prepare children and caregivers for procedures and diagnoses using developmentally appropriate education and coping strategies

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support holistic pediatric care

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Child Life, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or Pediatric Psychology

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in a healthcare or related setting

  • Certification: Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) required
