The Nampa Manager of Imaging Services oversees daily operations for radiology, CT, US, MRI, MI nursing, nuclear med, and IR. This critical leadership position plays the critical role of leading staff and all technical and administrative functions of the department to ensure exceptional service, operational excellence, and a collaborative environment that supports high-quality care and aligns with SLHS’s mission, vision, and values.
What You Can Expect:
- Full time schedule
- 14 direct reports, including supervisors and staff-level roles
- Management and coordination of daily operations for multiple imaging departments and/or locations.
- Providing leadership, guidance, counsel, and education to staff.
- Coordination of schedule to ensure staffing levels, while forecasting growth opportunities.
- Interaction and communication with providers, support staff, and other health care professionals to facilitate departmental operations.
- Awareness of departmental equipment by gathering data and documentation to ensure operational status and growth of imaging departments.
- Leading and implementation of quality initiatives and process improvements.
- Budget planning, productivity, and clinical needs assessment evaluation.
- Ongoing culture evaluation and management.
- Collaborative leadership among local and system imaging teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree or experience in lieu of degree
- 3 years' relevant experience
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Must have current registry in one medical imaging modality.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
