Description & Requirements

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Educator to support our Nurse Residency Program that is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of education for an accredited Nurse Residency Program while also contributing to system-wide clinical education initiatives. This role partners with nursing leadership, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to promote evidence-based practice, professional development, and a culture of continuous learning across the health system.

The Clinical Educator plays a key role in onboarding and supporting newly licensed nurses through structured learning experiences that promote clinical competence, professional confidence, and successful transition to practice. In addition, the educator collaborates on broader clinical education initiatives to support workforce development and high-quality patient care.

 

Qualifications:

    • Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
    • Experience: 6 years related experience
    • Previous nurse residency experience, strong communication, analytical and teaching skills preferred. 
    • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License in State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
