What You Can Expect:

  • Salaried/Exempt
  • Adolescent ages 13-17 will be referred to PHP for a higher level of care than outpatient and are at risk for psychiatric hospitalization or for out of home placement due to suicidality or risk to self or others. Therapist will need to be comfortable with this population and able to engage in the therapeutic process
  • In House CEU Opportunity
  • Education days, 3 paid CE days annually
  • Education Fund Available, $1000 annually

Qualifications:

  • Qualifications:
    • Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or related field
    • Licenses/Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification and hold a License in the State of Practice in one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)


      Partial Hospitalization Program Therapist Description:
  • Adolescent ages 13-17 will be referred to PHP for a higher level of care than outpatient and are at risk for psychiatric hospitalization or for out of home placement due to suicidality or risk to self or others. Therapist will need to be comfortable with this population and able to engage in the therapeutic process. 
  • Position functions as part of a multidisciplinary PHP team, including therapists/clinicians, psychology, and psychiatry. Clinician will provide brief-term therapy/stabilization services to patients in PHP for approximately 4-6 weeks before being discharged to a lower level of care. Candidate should be comfortable facilitating groups, utilizing CBT, DBT, and other evidenced based treatment modalities
  • Complete Comprehensive Mental Health Assessments, diagnosing, and treatment planning 
  • Assess patients for risk of suicidal and/or homicidal thoughts or behaviors and developing safety plans with patients and their families
