What You Can Expect:

The Tumor Registrar Sr (CTR) collects, analyzes, and reports on cancer data, providing essential information to researchers, healthcare providers, and public health officials.

  • Proficient in core duties of Tumor Registrar position; case ascertainment, abstracting cancer cases, and follow up.
  • Compiles the Annual Registry Report and the quarterly Registry Report to Cancer Committee.
  • Collects, analyzes and maintains College of American Pathology (CAP) reporting.
  • Conducts National Cancer Data Base (NCDB) export, performing all functions of quality analysis connected with the review.
  • Exports, analyzes and reports Rapid Quality Reporting System (RQRS) data.
  • Assesses Cancer Program Practice Profile (CP3R) data for quality audit and presentation to Cancer Committee.
  • Performs monthly data exports to Cancer Data Registry of Idaho.
  • Collects, analyzes, maintains and reports Physician Quality Audit to Cancer Committee.
  • Assists Oncology Registry manager with compiling data for Survey Application Records required by Commission on Cancer for cancer program accreditation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates degree or experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience: 2 years relevant experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) or Oncology Data Specialist (ODS)
