At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Nurse Navigators are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We are currently hiring for a Full Time (1.0 FTE) Nurse Navigator for Cystic Fibrosis Clinic in Boise!
What You Can Expect:
As the Nurse Navigator RN for the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic, this role supports pediatric and adult patients through coordination of care, clinical triage, patient education, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities include phone triage for patient illnesses and concerns, management of in-basket follow-up work, rooming patients, patient education, SMART management, and ordering/monitoring clinic supplies and medications, including private vaccines.
This role works closely with a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team that may include RN Navigators, Pharmacists, Respiratory Therapists, Dietitians, Social Workers/Behavioral Health specialists, Research staff, Physical Therapists, school support staff, and providers across Pulmonology, GI, Family Medicine, and Pediatrics.
Additional opportunities include participation in subcommittees, planning networking events, and attending annual and bi-annual conferences. The clinic values adaptability, positivity, teamwork, and continued professional growth while caring for patients across all stages of life.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 4:30p.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors of Nursing Degree
- Experience: 2 years’ of RN experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License in the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in the Cystic Fibrosis specialty
- Critical thinking skills
