The Coronary Observation Unit (Boise) is an outpatient unit that works closely with the in-patient units (3 Tele, 7E, 6E, 4S, SICU, MICU). 

What You Can Expect:

• Full Time Day Shift - 0.9 FTE (3, 12 hour shifts/week)
  • Shift times are typically 0530-1800 (May be required to stay later if there are still patients on unit)
• Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
• This is a CNA/HUC position allowing for direct patient care and unit clerk duties
  • Creating charts, supply management, re-stocking, answering phones, with some clinical skill – able to perform EKGs, get a set of vital signs and very seldomly removing IVs
• Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue Nursing Education
• This is a No overnight, No weekends, or Major holidays position

Qualifications:

• Education: No Education Required
• Licenses/Certifications: Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
