The Coronary Observation Unit (Boise) is an outpatient unit that works closely with the in-patient units (3 Tele, 7E, 6E, 4S, SICU, MICU).
What You Can Expect:
- Full Time Day Shift - 0.9 FTE (3, 12 hour shifts/week)
- Shift times are typically 0530-1800 (May be required to stay later if there are still patients on unit)
- Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
- This is a CNA/HUC position allowing for direct patient care and unit clerk duties
- Creating charts, supply management, re-stocking, answering phones, with some clinical skill – able to perform EKGs, get a set of vital signs and very seldomly removing IVs
- Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue Nursing Education
- This is a No overnight, No weekends, or Major holidays position
Qualifications:
- Education: No Education Required
- Licenses/Certifications: Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
