St. Luke’s seeks an Associate Counsel I to join the Payer Relations team to provide guidance and support on organizational legal issues.
 

What you can expect

  • Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks.
  • Writes, reviews, and advises on legal contracts and agreements.
  • Ensures the organization operates in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Assists with representation of the organization in legal matters.
  • Assists with governance, litigation and risk management activities.
  • Works closely with outside counsel, in-house attorneys, and/or various stakeholders.
  • May help represent and defend the organization against suits and claims.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements 

  • Education: Advanced degree: J.D. or LL.M. 
  • Licenses/Certifications: Must be a member of the Idaho Bar within one year

Preferred experience and/or willing to learn

  • Payer contracting
  • Revenue cycle 
  • Pharmacy
