Join our Hospice team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in the comfort of their homes. In this deeply rewarding role, you'll support patients and families throughout the end-of-life journey, helping ensure comfort, dignity, and peace while making a meaningful difference every day. This role will support the treasure valley including rural areas.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
What You Can Expect
- Provide direct patient care in home hospice settings under the direction of the hospice care team
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and comfort measures
- Support patients and families with dignity, compassion, and empathy during end-of-life care
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing emotional support and education
- Work independently in patients' homes while maintaining strong communication with the care team
- Mileage reimbursement provided for patient visits
- Eligible to apply for St. Luke’s scholarships to pursue nursing education and career advancement opportunities
Qualifications
Education
- No formal education required
Experience
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant healthcare experience required
Licenses/Certifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice or Nurse Apprentice Letter required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute required
