St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is looking for a Patient Access Supervisor to join the Specialty Clinics in Boise.
What to Expect:
The successful candidate will be a working supervisor responsible for the management of day-to-day operations according to assigned scope. The Patient Access Supervisor must have the flexibility to cover shifts for callouts and will supervise leads as well as a team of up to 18-20 employees. If you are action-oriented with a drive for process and can work independently leading a strong Patient Support Team - this role is for you.
Requirements:
- Ensures department workflows and staff development programs are implemented.
- Provides day-to-day oversight to a team of Patient Access professionals.
- Provides leadership, guidance, counseling, and continuing education to staff.
- Selects, develops, coaches, mentors, and assesses performance of staff.
- Ensures compliance of policies/practices for department and provides support for adherence.
- Performs difficult and complex duties requiring advanced techniques, extensive and diversified knowledge within specialized areas.
- Makes decisions independently and authorizes actions as needed.
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.
- Assists in hiring, training, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions required with staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's + 3 years of experience OR
- HS Diploma/GED + 5 years of experience
